do i photograph queer weddings?

If you and your partner are thinking of skipping the hubbub and running off to do a private ceremony with just the two of you or a handful of your nearest and dearest, I'd be absolutely honored to document your intimate ceremony.

Do I shoot elopements?

This depends entirely on the amount of coverage (in terms of hours shot and if there's a second shooter), but HUNDREDS of photos. First, I'll send you a handful of sneak peek shots within 24-hours of your wedding. Then, 6 to 8 weeks later (depending on the season) you'll receive a link via email to your online gallery and slide show to watch and relive your wedding day.

Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected these days. While the 50% deposit is non-refundable, you may reschedule your date once without an additional deposit.

What if you have to reschedule?

Anywhere within 3-12 months of your wedding is a great time to book with me! If you have less time than that, please don't be discouraged and reach out - if the timing works, we can absolutely make it happen. 

How far in advance should you book?

What I tell every couple (whether they book with me or not) is that style and chemistry has to come first. While your budget is of course a personal consideration, there is no shortage of wedding vendors out there that can't always be defined by their rates.

I recommend prioritizing the style, personality, and quality of the service by shopping around with consultations, focusing on portfolios, and asking vendors you love for recommendations of others they've worked with before.

When you book with me, if asked and welcomed I am always happy to offer my opinion and any tips - not only as a wedding photographer, but as someone who recently planned my own wedding. I've been there, and I'm happy to be another resource for my couples during your planning process!

Any advice for booking wedding vendors?

I am an editorial wedding photographer who loves a secret moment. Like many wedding photographers, I got my start by covering the second angle for other wedding photographers (and still do to this day because I love that perspective) and it's something I bring with me into my lead work. 

While I will give direction during our portraits and will help place you in a space just so, I love filling the role as the viewer and audience member to your day through my images. My photos feel like you've just peaked around the corner into a private moment, or caught someone mid-laugh about an inside joke.

My priority is to accompany you through your day and protect your experience, adding to it and not distracting from it... while creating images from those moments for you to remember forever.
